Who we admit, and when.

Children are admitted within specific age groups across our seven stages.

Crèche

3–11 months

Pre-school One

From age 1

Pre-school Two

From age 2

Reception One

Primary

Ages 5–6

Secondary

Ages 10–11

Sixth Form

Age 16+

Age requirements for Pre-school One through Reception Two are assessed as at the end of December of the intake year.

THE PROCESS

A clear, thorough process designed to understand your child and family.

Fill and submit purchased admission form

A payment of ₦20,000 is required to begin the application process. Once purchased, parents or guardians complete the Admission Form with accurate, comprehensive information about their child.

Admissions exam

All applicants, accompanied by their parents or guardians, visit one of our Chrisland campuses or an assigned location for a thoughtful and broad admissions exam that assesses their abilities holistically.

Parent and applicant comprehensive interview

Parents, guardians and applicants take part in a thorough interview to assess suitability for admission. We prioritise a friendly environment for discussing aspirations and academic goals, and ensure a fair, rigorous, and transparent evaluation.

CRÈCHE & NURSERY

Crèche, pre-school and reception

Our crèche welcomes children between 6 and 18 months. Admission requires parents or guardians to bring their child in to spend the day with teachers for observation. Children aged 2 to 5 join our Pre-school and Reception classes, engaging in age-appropriate activities that foster early learning and social development.

PRIMARY

Primary classes

We admit children between 5 and 6 years old to our Primary classes. This critical stage focuses on building a strong foundation in core subjects and nurturing a love for learning.

SECONDARY / HIGH SCHOOL

Secondary and high school

We welcome students aged 10 and above who have at least completed Year 5 (Primary 5) from a recognised school in Nigeria or internationally. Applicants and parents visit our campus for a comprehensive entrance examination and interview.

SIXTH FORM

Chrisland Pre-Degree College

We welcome students aged 16 and above with a minimum of six credits, including English and Mathematics, in the SSCE examinations. Applicants with IGCSE certificates (UK pathway) are also eligible. Admissions take place in September, with a late entry option in January.
