THE PATHWAY
A single journey, four distinct stages.
Every stage builds on the last. Curriculum, pedagogy and pastoral care are calibrated to the developmental needs of each age band.
Ages 4-5
Foundation Stage
Play-based learning grounded in phonics, early numeracy, and social development. Structured routines, warm environments.
Ages 6-11
Primary
Core literacy and numeracy alongside science, humanities, arts and physical education. Cambridge Primary framework informs planning.
Ages 12-16
Secondary
Nigerian curriculum with WASSCE preparation and Cambridge IGCSE options across the sciences, arts and business subjects.
Ages 16-18
Sixth Form
Cambridge A Levels with structured university placement support. Small group teaching, dedicated tutoring, alumni network.

SMALL CLASSES
Group average, 1:10
Teacher-to-pupil ratio kept low so every learner is known. Classes rarely exceed 25 students in Primary, 22 in Secondary, 16 in Sixth Form.
TRAINED TEACHERS
Annual professional development
Every teacher completes at least 40 hours of continuing professional development each year, plus mandatory safeguarding training.
EVIDENCE-INFORMED

We follow the evidence — retrieval practice, spaced repetition, formative assessment. No pedagogical fads, no gimmicks.

Nigerian and international pathways, taught side by side.
Chrisland learners sit for Nigerian and international qualifications. Our Primary programme is informed by the Cambridge Primary framework. Our Secondary offering combines the Nigerian national curriculum with Cambridge IGCSE options, giving learners the flexibility to sit for both WASSCE and international equivalents.
In Sixth Form, we teach Cambridge A Levels across the sciences, humanities, and business studies. Our university placement team supports learners applying to Nigerian, UK, US, and Canadian universities, with dedicated guidance on personal statements, UCAS, Common App, and Nigerian JAMB registration.
